Rachael Robinson Nutritionist Amersham

About

My name is Rachael and I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, Dip ION, CNHC), and Registered Nutritionist (MSc, ANutr) with a specialist focus on Fertility.

I specialise in supporting clients to optimise their fertility via nutrition from conception to pregnancy and beyond.

After a 3.5 year battle to have a baby, which included 6 cycles of IVF stimulation, 4 egg collections, 2 IUIs, a natural pregnancy of twins which I miscarried at 6 weeks, an ectopic pregnancy, a D&C, 2 shots of methotrexate, 297 self-administered injections, PGS genetic testing of embryos, one mosaic embryo in storage and one genetically normal embryo I had my miracle baby: Felix.

Throughout this time I have developed a passion and robust understanding of the impact that nutrition can have on improving fertility outcomes, including:

  • Preparing the body for pregnancy

  • Supporting body and mind through IVF

  • Recovery from miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy

  • Maintaining a healthy pregnancy

I have been fortunate to work with a number of clients supporting them in their fertility journeys alongside my own.

Functional testing, tailored health and lifestyle plans and targeted supplementation can make a huge difference in the health of our hormones, quality of egg and sperm and ultimately improve our chance of conceiving and maintaining a healthy pregnancy. I have a very tailored approach with my clients, we are all unique and our body and mind needs to be treated differently to get the best outcome.

I firmly believe in finding balance and my focus is to look at what we can add to your diet before looking at what we need to remove. Often people are quite nervous at first as they think that a nutritionist will remove all of the joy from their lives! It is the total opposite, we look at what you need to help bring you into balance but also allow space for the things that you love too.

I am currently running my clinic via Zoom.  If you are interested in finding out more do get in touch via the contact form.
